Jordan was born in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, on February 17, 1963. Raised in Wilmington, North Carolina From childhood, he was a fan of basketball, and with his natural talent, he quickly rose through the ranks. Following the NCAA championship victory in 1982 with the University of North Carolina, Jordan joined the Chicago Bulls in 1984.
