Varun Dhawan is an Indian actor who was born on April 24, 1987, in Mumbai, India. He is the son of film director David Dhawan and Karuna Dhawan. He started his acting career with MTV. His family is Punjabi Hindu, and his elder brother Rohit is a film director who directed his first movie, Desi Boyz. Varun Dhawan passed his HSC and received his education from the H.R. College of Commerce and Economics. He holds a bachelor of business studies from Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom.
